But nobody knows about the World Wide Web homepage, until now that is.....
The World Wide Web Homepage is a website that wishes to incorporate all things internet and web for the benefit of all users whether it is for information or promotion of products and services.
We are fully aware of the responsibility of using such a name and have taken in to consideration the necessity in doing justice to Tim Berners-Lee's creation, all be it presently having done so on an extremely cost effective basis, by seeking favoured help and assistance in getting this project off the ground.
Although perhaps a little corny one of our aims is for the millions of web and internets users the ability to say that they are on the Homepage of the World Wide Web. As well as having a central point which incorporates the many uses of the web, such as directories, articles, forums, blogging, video streaming, networking both social and business to name but a few.
As the site is new; we are only presently starting with a directory which is viewable in a general or regionalised format, then over time we are looking constantly to add further site additions such things as blogging, forums, networking and so on.
Since the onslaught of the internet and the web many phrases have now come in to our modern day language such as, “on the net” “search the web” “Google it” even website names are talking points of many conversations like Facebook, MySpace, Bebo...... will the day come where the Worldwide Web homepage becomes a part of many conversations around the world.
Mores the point do you want to be on the Homepage of the Worldwide Web?
We certainly hope so............
